Mrs. Farrell is in her seventh year of teaching. She graduated from Marian University in 2016. She loves being able to be at St. Mark and share her faith with others. Mrs. Farrell is a proud Lion herself, having graduated from St. Mark in 2008. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell are both Catholic school teachers and have two little girls at home!

The 4th graders have the opportunity to have 2 teachers! Mrs. Farrell teaches the Math and Science while Mrs. Merkel teaches the Reading and Writing. Each homeroom teacher teaches their class Religion and Social Studies. Mrs. Carr is available in both classrooms across all subject areas.

Classroom Management

Classroom Rules:
1. Follow directions QUICKLY.
2. RESPECT others, yourself, and your school.
3. LISTEN when your teacher is talking.
4. Be SAFE, be KIND, and be HONEST.
5. RAISE YOUR HAND to speak or stand.

Behavior Log Info
  • ​All behavior incidents will be documented on the student's behavior log. Students will receive consequences based on the amount of incidents reported on the log.
  • Parents will sign the log at the end of each week. 
  • Communication between classroom and home will be updated using the monthly behavior log.
  • Positive behavior will be celebrated at the end of each grading quarter.​
