Before Care is provided, for a low cost for those parents whose work schedule requires them to drop off their children prior to the normal start of the school day. Before Care is open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. in the Student Life Center (bus bay-Door 5) Students must be signed into Before Care by an adult in the Student Life Center. The fee schedule is below. Payment will be made: -BY DAY for those using this service on a DAY TO DAY basis. -On Friday or the last school day of the week for those using this service on a weekly basis. -If fees are not paid in one week, use of Before Care will be lost until fees are paid. After Care is provided, for a low cost, for those parents whose work schedule does not permit them to pick up their children at 3:00pm. After Care is from 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm in the Student Life Center (old media center). Any child grades Pre-K through 8th who do not get picked up after school will be placed in After Care and After Care fees will be assessed, unless students are picked up by 3:20 pm.
Mrs. Nichole Hood is the After Care Director. A study room, outdoor recreation (weather permitting) games, reading and snacks are provided during After Care. The phone extension for aftercare is 301. Students are under the same rules and dress code at After Care as they are during school. Any discipline issues during After Care will be dealt with by the Principal and future uses of After Care may be lost by the student. Students are not permitted to stay in a classroom after school to avoid After Care charges. Please do not ask the teachers to do so. Students must be signed out in the Student Life Center of St. Mark School through the bus bay. Pick up of students must be made no later than 5:30 p.m. to avoid an additional $5.00 late fee charge for the first 5 minutes. Each additional minute after will be $1.00 per minute. IF AFTER CARE BALANCES ARE NOT CURRENT, THE PARENT WILL LOSE THEIR RIGHT FOR THEIR CHILD TO USE AFTER CARE UNTIL THE FEES ARE PAID IN FULL. |
