Students in Middle School Social Studies actively engage in the topics they are learning. From building ziggurats and nemes like Ancient Egyptians, to proving athletic and academic prowess like Ancient Olympians, to creating and voting on St. Mark laws in a simulation voting center.

8th Social Studies
- Students focus on United States history, beginning with a review of early history, then studying early national development, foundations of the government, presidents, westward expansion, the Civil War and Reconstruction period.
- Students examine the principles of the United States Constitution as well as other primary documents and their application to American history.
- Students explore major themes, issues, events, movements and figures in the history of the United States up to 1877.
